We should be allowed a black dot emoji as a more basic acknowledgement

As opposed to a heart, which implies that you actually like a response

Won't happen unfortunately. The heart is far too ingrained. And they really don't want to increase the number of emojis.

More emojis means more system resources, both for the server and on the user ends.
