I'm having coffee for the 1st time in a few days
That's right, when i have a big ole bottle of whiskey i go off coffee totally, it's a little pact i have with Otto my imaginary friend, who comes from Mesopotamia.
I finally got to the end of Gorgias, a fairly long Plato dialogue, my head space was not adaptable to it at all, but some good things came through, and for sure in subsequent readings, it was so trying though that it drove me to be more active here and binge watching scary videos, but i am back on track with Plato and his esteemed student Aristotle.
A dozen or so pdfs on Aristotle were gloriously scored a few weeks ago, one of them is so good i am tempted to get it for my Kobo, so i can read it in more positions and with more ease.
I must not spend any money on more books though because my needs have expanded i shall be drinking more, and that costs money, and i never want to run out of gummies again. And with 30 dollar cartons it should be good for some amount to be saved per month.
The program i'm on that i get my funds from has a few new hoops for me to jump through, no increase but i have to apply for a 3rd way to get my monthly benefits, and if my application doesn't go through i'll be getting 200 less per month. I'd much rather have 200 less than nothing at all, in fact i'm paranoid about losing these benefits, there's no other way i could survive!
But anyway here's how my monetary countdown after room and board would look like
900
120 -- smokes
780
80 -- gummies
700
200 -- whiskey
500
200 -- food
300 -- try to save this much, i also call this my net, the safety net.
Now you know the lay of my land, i shall be less active than recently, basking in the ancient thought of the Greeks, blending them all together every pertinent Greco-Roman source i have from drama, poetry, history and so on to give a combined effect of actually living back then.
