Did u hear about that plantation that burned down

Never understood what it is with childhood toys and clowns and horror stories. Maybe its about the thing we used to cling to and trusted the most double crossing us ? Personally the only time I've bene truly freaked out is by a series 2 (Patrick Troughton with a penny whistle) Dr Who story where there were walking hedges and if a spike got stuck into you, you started to turn into a hedge. that night my mother put me to bed with a rough balnket and no top sheet and the material ends kept sticking into me and I ended up on top of the bed with my knees under my chin - Id forgotten that - now Ive remembered I wsih I hadnt !
