has someone ever had a false perception of you

like someone who thought things about you which were untrue? i have once or twice in the past, how should you deal or respond to a situation like that?

People judge me all the time because of my outbursts. They think I'm loud, rude and creep. I'm not, I'm normally quiet and I try to be polite to everyone.
