For some single people they know being single is hard and some them make money, according to the bible God created Eve out of Adams rib so he wouldnt be lonely and so she can be a helper. When you go through a real hardship in real life that will make sense to you, and you will know why the man has to be head of the household. There's more to it too. Kids neeed motherly love as well as fatherly love.

As long as they are both contributing something and it doesn't have to always be money, then nothing else really matters. Its up to the both of them to decide what works best for them.

Luckily in some places this doesnt matter any more. Women can be the breadwinners and men can be stay-at-home dads, and it can work.
But only if we stop giving people gender standards they think they HAVE to live up to.

2. Men and women on a individual and collective basis must reconcile within themselves and with each other which role they can be.

3. Men end up being punished for doing what you said because of insert arbitrary reason here so they end up dropping out and not caring anymore.

4. The human race cannot make up their minds as a collective which standard is the norm due to "Everyone is different" and "You can't control other people" etc

If a wife earns more is usually because she has better education.
