In 9 hours i'll have some funds!!

1st things i'll do, order smokes and gummies.

Then get a good reading experience kindle editions of William H. Gass' Temple of Texts, all his Litcrit stuff should be fit in, I have not good reading experience pdf's of him in the kindle that has a tiny non-adjustable font size.

This phase or stage I dub it Aesthetic in Literature, but with philosophical depth as a second aftertaste and ingredient.

The complex maximalist novels lots by Americans like Gravity's Rainbow, and Infinite Jest are just there waiting to be lived in, yes these books I have the keys to as if they were homes, I can sleep over, but I must be tidy and respectable, that means when I write about them, I mustn't be careless in how I express myself.

I do indeed put forth awkward sentences, sometimes its the autocorrect my new computer is set to, other times I just leave out words I intended to use, or use a vaguely similar word that doesn't quite fit instead. This is like making a sandwich in the Gaddis home and leaving crumbs and blobs of mayonnaise on the counter.

But it's basically a home where love of expression thrives, where I can hear how it's done and learn from what has been called the "cruft" of fiction.

The novel as an exciting grand format to explore, but all forms, be it poetry, I love how Benjamin McEvoy described how poetry changes your mental chemistry for the better, it's like Shelley's home is a spa, equipped with treadmills and jacuzzis.

Banished for the time being all dry technical stuff, but this might come as a surprise, to read just for 5 minutes sometimes religious texts from the orthodox quarters of my Protestant heritage's forebears, I do take it seriously, and they cost me big bucks to get, it would be holistic even if I eyeroll it all, for it'll at least be what it's supposed to say, not like my dad who's expression is not something I can say anything nice about.

That's key to my love of and need of fine expression, of words being a pleasure to read, with a blend of 2 or more of:

Intelligence
Wisdom
Understanding
Humor
Vision

Just random terms thought of at the moment. And to train my expressions here is a crucial aspect of the reading experience, this is what you may call my journaling, and I do it here, because I can't say anything just to myself, if there's just one person who reads these and thinks its not a waste of time, the function is well accounted for, and hopefully as I work things out, the mental state would improve, or be more clear so I can see how bad things really are, because I have a desire to know, the will to know regardless of whether its pleasant or not, however the aesthetic qualities of this phase is the pleasure itself, I can live in hell with good literature.
