Are we not heading towards this inch by inch??

Architects of destruction often caption efforts in direction of mass extinction as a must road to take

whatever happens i will be like anne frank til the end
NATO is pressing Russia to use its nukes, Israel is fully nuked up and will destroy everything if the iron dome fails, the alternatives are really obvious - but they are all leftist. Murkans are definitely going to kill us all to keep control and make right wing politics the only way.

@JamesBugman nukes are not only terror. Pollution, war, deforestation, i have countless deeds to be sorry for what humanity has done. We are digging our own grave inch by inch

@Mystical I agree with you, but thankfully (so far) we do not have nuclear radiation to deal with as well. Lets hope it stays that way.
Clearly this planet needs to find a way to eliminate half the population, especially in certain countries who, when things get tight, will turn to war in order to increase their land mass.
This may be the motivation for China currently.

Yes. Always have been. Doomsday clock inches ever closer every year. People keep their heads in the sand and think authoritarian rulers are the way to go. Putin could very likely be the one to take us there someday.
Mystical · 31-35, M
@brokensignal well you cant blame one who press the button, creator is also responsible, even the followers and so is the opposition. Every one of us are responsible
brokensignal · 46-50, M
@Mystical Um- No … I’m pretty sure you CAN blame the one who pushes the button. Just like when someone pulls the trigger of a gun and kills somebody they go to prison. Can you put some of the blame on humanity at large? The creators of guns? Sure… You can ascribe a percentage of blame to society and the larger moral failures of people who could have helped that person not become a murderer. But you still call the one who committed the crime a murderer. Just like you’d call any authoritarian ruler who pushed that button and destroyed the world a total monster and a tyrant.

A country someplace, will invent something that wipes out humans instantly. Nothing to do with nuclear bombs, and will apply it to the most problematic country first, and then blackmail the rest. If it hurts, it will only be for a second or two and then you're gone, evaporated, your album still spinning, playing the same song. Unfortunately your birds will then starve to death in their cages, which is the really sad part.

@Rokan kids dont have sense of identity, they learn from adults. Every adult who identify themselves as human is responsible for this.

You actually have a valid point, and made me think though. How a kid is responsible for where we are heading? They are not but parents surely are.

I dont know how to put it, but trying to word through it. Hopefully it is not provocative yet something to think about. When a parent decide to bring a kid in this world, their security becomes first priority.

I am burdened by the idea that so many of parents have failed to do so in Hiroshima and Nagasaki in past. I cant blame newly born kid then, but all the kids that were born then know now. What are they doing now? Arent we still on same path just somehow different?
Rokan · 31-35, M
@Mystical then let me ask you this is you see my point exactly what age does it change that you hold an individual responsible? How about the autistic or mentally challenged? How about the handicapped? If i die right now this very second does it change the path even a percent of a percent? Or maybe is our world and our future controlled by a select few minority who are rich who hold power and influence? How many of us adults actually want this chaos in the world and war? Im am big on love thy neighbors and that exstends to other cultures and countries. War to me is the biggest failure of human activity we participate in but my life and my death will never stop it. All i can focus on is what i can control and even that wont change what will or willl not be, but one thing is for sure i would rush to put out any fire i can put out rather than watch the world burn.

No one truly knows though.
It could be extinction, it could be evolution and it is something we will not be alive to witness fully.
