You can't pass away or die as the body can. When the body dies, it disintegrates. You vanish, the way a shadow on a wall does when the light is switched off. The body casts a shadow on the wall when the light is switched on. The funny thing about the shadow is that it moves the body instead of the other way round. You are the shadow that moves the body. When the body dies, you vanish.
