It's really to bad for them that it's not the 1970s anymore.

@ElwoodBlues True story—a classmate of mine in first and second grade was the son of two missionaries and they moved to, I believe, Bolivia, where he learned to play soccer. He was about my size (short and not muscular), but he was one of the first kickers to kick soccer style in the NFL. He was on the team I think two years (maybe only one) and had a very strong leg. He would put the kickoffs out the end zone and his kickoffs were rarely returned. His last name was Trout and dam* if I can’t recall his first name right now!

@ElwoodBlues Yes! That’s him! I was thinking his first name was Dave, but I just couldn’t quite remember. He was a friend, but not one of my closest friends. I was shocked when he joined the Steelers. Hometown boy made good!
