Truth is no-one really cares here. We're all just randoms on an app. Some far weirder than others. Some intolerable.
No-one truly knows the other, they assume they do based on your views or what you post.
It is what it is.
That's SW. Thankfully it isn't RL.

Some people here actually do care. Some of us have been active members of this community predating SW and have been supportive friends for 10-15 years; yes YEARS.

Many of us we'll predate the app version, some of us still access via a web browser and will never use the app.

While yes, some of us are weird and some are simply intolerable.

I think some of us know each other perhaps better than friends and family IRL. For some of us this IS RL, and relationships cross over into territory that isn't any less real than with anyone you may engage with in person. Some of us DO meet in person, and the lines of online vs IRL get blurred.

Be careful not to invalidate someone else's very real experience and the emotions they are going through.

@Starcrossed I've never used the app either. But I have noticed that for some time now, members are much more likely to refer to the "app" rather than to the "site".

I think you and I are in the minority! 🙂
