Why Do People Come Here?

I look at the feed, and my mind becomes empty. Like ninety-eight percent of the content posted has zero thought, or effort put into it. Most posts consist of the title and that is it; there is no contents to the post beyond that..

I'm not complaining, it is just confusing.

@MsSwan Quora is too cerebral and not light hearted enough....I just never got into reddit. My daughter keeps telling me to......TBH, I like seeing the regulars. I get a little excited when I see certain people post....not because they're answering things but because they're clever of fun. You are one of them..

If this place is an aqeuate source of socialisation for you, then great. Personally if I were housebound; I wouldn’t seek refuge here. In my experience most posts are empty and uninspiring, because of how little effort and engagement goes into most content here. This isn't attack on the website; I would very much like for it to work.
