Just a Thought: SW Awards

I would like it very much that when I visit someone's profile, I can see a counter indicating the number of times they have been reported.

Edit: Valid report. On the other hand, maybe there can be a separate award for the number of reports made.

This must be the most ridiculous suggestion ever!

@MsSwan Assuming that you didn't like it, it's quite interesting you enjoy sticking around. :)
@IamCuriousBabe Ohhh kayyy. Thanks for Best Comment 👍

@MsSwan Make yourself at home.

You would then have to consider the reporters. I for example have been reported (221? time according to the admin) by liberals who could not win their argument, went nasty trying to run me off and I went there with them, so they reported me after erasing all of their comments that precipitated the events. That is how they roll. So now I block them and their many alts when they come around looking to start trouble so they can report again. Basically I get reported because I dont take any crap from nasty people and I dont back down. Unprovoked, I am as sweet as they come. ☺️😉

@TexChik Politics. Told ya.
TexChik · F
@IamCuriousBabe I know. He/she/it couldnt help but reply and outted themselves. 🤷‍♀️
IamCuriousBabe · 51-55, F
@TexChik They tend to stick to a formula and not really opening up the discussion. As my friend likes to say, they are no more than SJWs and keyboard warriors.
Magenta · F
Or rather, how many times it was a legit report and acknowledged by admin.
I know mine already. I asked. 😇
IamCuriousBabe · 51-55, F
@Magenta Yes, the key word is LEGIT.
SW-User
@Magenta Did you report me for asking for to many cookies 🍪 🧐
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
What different does it make?
IamCuriousBabe · 51-55, F
@MsSwan It's an enhancement I'd wish were there.
@IamCuriousBabe It's not an enhancement, it makes no sense. What difference does it make if a person's been reported 1 time or 20 times? One time is enough isn't it?
IamCuriousBabe · 51-55, F
@MsSwan Consistency.
Teirdalin · 31-35
xD Well false flagging always has been a thing, most of the time they already put a tag on peoples profile when they get positive flagged, and if they get positive flagged several times they get limited, then removed.
IamCuriousBabe · 51-55, F
@Teirdalin Nice to see THAT
Funlov · M
Can we see yours?
Funlov · M
@IamCuriousBabe but it doesn’t say how many times you’ve been reported can you imagine if they did there’s a lot of weird people on here and reporting them that’s Chyna unless it’s really bad that’s kind of a pussy way to do things in life it’s like tattle taling
IamCuriousBabe · 51-55, F
@Funlov Precisely. That feature isn't there to begin with. There is legit reporting. Heck, I'd want to know if there is a potential harasser trying to be friendly with me.
Funlov · M
@IamCuriousBabe I see where you’re going now I get that
SW-User
Kinda like the thumbs down system there is for posts/comments
But for one’s profile
lol
IamCuriousBabe · 51-55, F
@SW-User Just a thought...did EP ever have that system? Nice if it did back then.
SW-User
@IamCuriousBabe honestly don’t recall that
EP definitely didn’t have the thumbs down emoji reaction thing on posts/comments

It's highly problematic: Republicans reporting Democrats, Christians reporting atheists, etc.
That’s guaranteed to add a negative aspect to the site. If your concern is avoiding the “spicier” posters, you can already see those who are on warning, because it appears on their profiles. Otherwise, why not get to know the community yourself, rather than looking for ways to prejudge people ? 🤨
IamCuriousBabe · 51-55, F
@bijouxbroussard Just to add, I can't see how a feature can change the already negative aspect that the site has. The complaints haven't really changed, have they?
@IamCuriousBabe Well, the site may or may not take your suggestion. Personally, I hope they don’t because I think it’s a bit mean-spirited. But if dms are the problem, it’s possible to restrict them from your main inbox by only allowing those from people you’ve already friended. That does cut back on some of the weird ones.
IamCuriousBabe · 51-55, F
@bijouxbroussard I don't think it's a popular one. What I see on awards are just the sheer number of posts, comments, groups, etc. If community standards are really taken seriously, then those violating them constantly would have to be visibly tagged.
