Things I don't lie to myself about

1. I'm not attractive. I'm always the ugliest woman in any room, and I'm easily 50 pounds overweight. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I've accepted both of these things. I actually have been much thinner in the past, and was not comfortable in a thinner body. However for health's sake, I'm beginning a new workout routine this weekend.

2. I don't dislike children one-on-one, but I definitely do not want to be around a group of them for any length of time. 🚫👧🏻👱👧🏾🧑🏽🧒🏻👧🏼🚫

3. I have an undeniable, unashamed preference of animals > kids.

4. I'm well read but not a genius. 📚

5. I am usually the hardest worker in the room, but I also am smart enough to know that if you give an employer a full 100%, you're not going to be rewarded and you will only be expected to perform at that level every time.

6. My parents don't actually love me. At all. This is not me throwing myself a pity party. Neither of them know how to love anything, let alone me. 👨‍👨‍👦

7. I'm a happy drunk but always seem to find myself in the company of sad/angry drunks, which is a real drag. 😔

8. My only real goal in life is to always feel cozy. I'm obsessed with feeling cozy. Comfort is #1 even though it makes me sound like a lazy-a$$. 🛌🏻

9. I love being home by myself. It is the most relaxing, peaceful kind of day, and I am often most productive when alone.

10. I am extremely choosy when it comes to entertainment- art, tv, movies, music, etc. Hard to please for sure. 📺

I doubt you are the ugliest woman in the room
You need to have a bit more confidence in yourself and you also need to feel loved!
And you are intelligent, I can see that
Hugs 🤗

You already know what I think, and how I feel about Number 1 on the list, so there's no need to repeat this, as other's might do. 🤗❤️This is how "you feel about yourself," so what myself or other's might say is of not much importance or benefit. As for the rest on your list, nice self-reflection. 👍
If you can find happiness and comfort then that's an accomplishment.

Honestly, I think feeling cozy is a very valid and commendable life goal. People often think goals have to be something career-oriented. They certainly can be. Definitely don't need to be.
Wow I actually relate to most of these. Especially the work one. Being a hard worker is admirable but then you're just given more and more tasks and burning yourself out while getting paid the same as the lazy fucker who does half the work -_-

It’s extremely hard for me to find a show or movie that I like. You’re not ugly, believe me. You look like a model compared to some women I see around.

You are very attractive, Ma'am, seriously. I would love to chat with you in private.

@romell I guess you don't know what it's like being surrounded by a$$holes. I have been for a long time. In fact, of all the people I've gotten to know in my 42 years, I can count on ONE hand how many of them were truly decent people. Sad but 100% true.
