Whats your great great grandfather called?

@Loretta78 Thats awesome. Having any type of knowledge/connection to your lineage is a gift. One I must admit I've used as a bad example of " taking things to seriously". Faux pa on my part as several here were well aware.

Nevertheless it doesn't help me at all that I know the names where I'm coming from. 😞

There live still several members of my family anywhere... I could have an exchange about our common ancestors. But I don't have contact to ANYBODY, it seems I am the Black Sheep of the family. I am feeling a little bit like a leaf on a dead branch... 😞

But however: Knowing about lineage is interesting, and also about the little stories I know to tell about a few of my ancestors. 🙂

Oddly perhaps I've a string of knowledge pertaining to names in my family tree as my heritage uses not a family name. Icelandic tradition is to adapt your fathers first name + son or daughter respectively as your last.

@Loretta78 Paternity, yes. As born there myself as well. Grendavic. My mother was born in the US however granting me duel citizenship.
