I mean look at the whole Lia Thomas issue. It's obvious why cis women would feel hurt and you're trying to oversimplify this issue with your post.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@somedude15 What are you talking about, what happened to Lia? I don't get your comment.
Also if you want to bring up trans women in sports, trans women have lost many times before. There's was a story about a trans woman who finally won world cup or something similar but before that, she lost to her competitor.. a cisgender about nine different times.
They are not upset, cisgenders or some, not all are upset that they lost because they're weak. That's the point of my post.
I understand the issue very well, I understand that when cisgenders win against trans women, it's okay but when trans females or trans male (female to male transition participating in male sports) will it's not okay according to cisgenders.
Blaming others for your weakness, is weak. I understand this perfectly well, if I didn't understand anti trans cisgenders, I'd blame trans people for winning anything over my own faults.
Now that's a lack of understanding. I understand people very well thank you.

@SatanBurger saying a biological male competing against biological females in a sporting competion is fair and just because of how they identify is absurd. There are clear bilogical differences that hormone replacement doesn't change that makes it an inbalanced competition from an objevtive standpoint. The fact that there has been bilogical females who have still outperformed trans women isn't a strong counterpoint. What is worth looking at ia their records jumping when they switched from male to female competition. Saying this isn't anti-trans either.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@MethDozer Sorry. I'll go with what doctors say over you, it's not even just this doctor either.

The second thing that I think is really an area of concern for me is how this is a decision that is really not based on science. There are so many characteristics that contribute to excellence in sports. And the same attributes don’t always carry over from one sport to the next. You need different skills for golfing than you need for archery, basketball, soccer, or gymnastics. Plus, there's not really any sound body of evidence that speaks to the advantage that testosterone confers. When you take a look at some of the studies that have been done on transgender females in terms of their athletic ability, it overlaps with the range that you would find in cisgender women. There is no body of evidence to suggest that there is an advantage.

@SatanBurger ahh some article from an online magazine is doctor consensus.
Totally negates all the concrete data that male bodies have extra bone density and propensity for muscle mass and the whole basis for steriod use in sports.
Yes atheltic skills are a huge factor but they don't make up for physicality limitations hence the whole reason women and mens sports are seperate and why sports such as boxing and MMA have weight classes. Also physical ability has different levels of importance in differemt sports.

@SatanBurger And this is one no name doctor in a non-medical and non-scientific magazine but this is the fact source we choose? Confirmation bias maybe?
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@MethDozer Yet you totally must have forgot that trans females take hormones and have less bone density. Honest mistake over there I guess 😏
I can give you more doctors if you like but I don't think you'd believe doctors, you just want to believe what you want without any evidence. All the science I looked up indicates trans females are fine in sports, particularly since they lose just like cisgendered women and sometimes they win. A trans athlete lost to her competitor 9 times, that's not possible if it's like what you say, that trans people are just a threat to cisgendered females. If they were, trans athletes would ALWAYS win then, this is an inherient contradiction.
But again, that means little to you because you just want to sit there and just say things to make it true rather than it having it be the truth.
Which means this is just a losing conversation.

@SatanBurger Hormones do not reverse prior bone density. It doesn't change the shape of your skeletal structure.
You're actually just gaslighting now which you always make a big deal about how much you hate. I am willing to look at evidence but you got to show some. An article from a non-medical no name online magazine focused on trans rights isn't evidence.

@SatanBurger Again, the fact they sometimes lose isn't a good arguement against how much better they overwhelmingly tend to do when they switch from mens to womens sports.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@MethDozer If you look at trans females who transition and look at their skeletal structure from when they were male to female, they obviously change bone density. Their jaws, their arms, their legs... much skinnier.
It is a great argument because no one ever complains about trans women when they lose so that's self evident. Haters only hate when you win, they love it when you're down though right?
To touch on the latter part of that sentence, I haven't seen any proof that trans females sucked when they were male athletes and then all of a sudden transitioned and just were powerhouses. Can you show me the evidence of any trans athlete in particular who sucked when they were male and in sports and then fully transitioned and just like boom! They like won everything and did way better.
You know weird, some blank profile mentioned the same argument as you the other day, they were far more rude about it saying that "it's because trans females sucked when they were males that they went to women's sports" I recall.

@MethDozer Trans females have lower bone density.

@SatanBurger Well to fair anti-trans crowd does use the issue to be hateful. You can't expect any less of them. Yet that doesn't negate the issuse at all or mean there isn't a relivent discussion over the issue.
Lia Thomas for one as another poster mentioned who went from 554th place as a male swimmer to #1 when they trnadtioned to female.
Fallon Fox in MMA.

@SatanBurger And for the record I really believe it depends on the sport. Certain sports this isn't a big issue. Hell certain sports there really isn't much reason to not have men and women competing against each other
MethDozer · M
@SatanBurger Lower than when they were male but the structure of the bones does bot change and they retaine a higher density over biological females. Puberty cause permenante change and science backs that up. Also gains in muscle mass can be kept after hormone replacement. As noted earlier thats the whole basis of steroid use in sports.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@MethDozer I think people think that she's not naturally talented because she wasn't winning in the men's league but honestly, she was transitioning for a period of well over three years. So how many years was she in the men's league? How many times did she compete? Numerous factors should be accounted for and not just "she sucked at men's sports and specifically went to women's sports to just spite females and win every single time."
It's a bit far fetched to be honest, for the reason below:
https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/critics-accuse-trans-swimming-star-105659374.html
Like I said, nobody doesn't have anything to say unless trans women win and also nobody seems to care that trans males are in male sports and no one cries over that 👌😆
It's a bit far fetched to be honest, for the reason below:
Ms Thomas won the women's 500 yard freestyle race in 4m 33.24s. She came fifth in the 200 yard race, with 1m 43.40s, and eighth in the 100 yard race with 48.40s.
These were impressive results, but they weren't record-breaking.
A whopping 18 of those were broken by Kate Douglass of the University of Virginia (UVA), who now has the fastest times in US college history in the 50 yard freestyle, the 100 yard butterfly stroke, and the 200 yard breaststroke.

@SatanBurger yet you completely ignore their ju.p of over 500 places as soon as they transitioned.
Excpetions to every rule exist. Just because a woman beat their record doesn't negate a physical advantage over the collective base.
Nobody pays much attention to femalet
to male competitors because men tend to have the physical advantage over women. Henxe the reason we cringe harder over a man punching a women over the cringe of man hitting another man. Yes we can find excpetions. Rhonda Rhousy would beat my ass like it was nothing. But she would have a much harder time fighting another man of the same skill, strength training, and weight of a man.
Nor did I say she transitioned just to compete in a different class. I don't pretend to know the persons reasons or duffculties that led them their decision to transition. That is not my place. That's a logical fallacy attack.

@MethDozer As long as trans women continue to lose as much as they win, I'll always say it's fair. Come at me when they win every single thing ever. They don't care when a trans woman or male loses, that says a lot. My post is really relevant, all in all I'm please that I wrote how skin thinned losers are when they lose fairly.
