Thing with journals are they remind me of university. We had to keep journalling for 3 years and because I was so burned out it felt like a chore.
I like it feeling natural and unregimented. Just dotting down thoughts on my phone whenever I have them or on this whiteboard I have in my room.
I do think it helps but only if people do it with a goal or intention in mind.

Journaling for 3 years would cause you to become sick of it. I do think journaling the positive things in your life can help you feel better when you feel like doing it. @NickiHijab

@NickiHijab there was a woman who started a gratitude journal decades ago and she ended up publishing it as a book because she had so many things written in it. Was very interesting to read.

@SW-User pretty much. It wasn't gratitude journalling though. It was reflective. Gratitude journalling is less heavy and more focused on shifting perspective
