@LongHairedCougar Nuru seaweed gel can run up to $80 a gallon, premade. Or your can get the ingredients and make them up yourself. The you need (typically) an inflatable bed-type surface on which to lay. That's $50+ . That needs to be protected with a plastic (washable) drop cloth of some kind. You can get by with a decent pool float, but then there isn't much room for wiggling around on it. You could just put a stack of blankets on the floor and top them with a plastic sheet- that's about as minimal as you can get. Outside in the summer, you can just use a plastic sheet or a Whamo Slip and Slide (how apropos!!!).

@Monalisaa1986 You just need to find a good therapist. If someone is having a problem getting a massage face-down, I have no problem doing their massage in a side-lying position. I do pre-natal massage in side-lying position anyway, so I'm used to it. If an athlete needs the outer edges of their legs worked, I'll do that in side-lying position for more pressure. Side-lying position is used far too seldom- IMO- has the potential to improve mechanics for the therapist, and a better result for the client/patient.
