nah, but seriously...

I need a new therapist.
we're supposed to sit for an hour, not 56 minutes because either you started late or are trying to quietly and passively rush me out early when I've done most of the talking and you little to no insist. or do I even need a therapist at all? past experiences have never really worked..

I stopped going to therapy and I do the work myself. Stoicism definitely helps. I also just started a book that is really helping me understand a lot about the journey of humanity and how we got where we are. Why talented and honest, loving people end up believing we’re deranged. I’ve done Carl Jung’s shadow work and all sorts of crazy brave adventures to stay present and open.

It’s just my opinion, but I think therapy can make it worse. Therapists are just people trying to earn a living. I’ve met a lot who are wells of repressed bs and trying to tell me how to live my life.

We can definitely heal ourselves. Takes time.

Try to find a better one. Many therapists are not great at all. Good luck

I may just go back to those Stoic readings I used to do

@Jeremi don’t give up. Some therapists can take some weight off your shoulders

I believe you. I just need to be careful.
