How much was your last medical bill, or did you let the insurance take the hit?

My partner had a stomach issue. We went to the emergency room. After waiting almost three hours we left. Less than a week later they sent a bill for $3700 without being seen by anyone except the triage nurse. I didn't pay them anything. Yes, I told my insurance company.

My partner agreed to drink some carbonated water. A few belches later she was fine.
