@ArishMell Agree with you, but when you go to other private or business premises with smart-home devices, you either have to choose to not go in, or put up with the intrusion.
I've not had this situation come up with dating when a potential date has smart-home devices, but it would probably turn me off going to her house knowing that 'the entity' would be constantly listening and 'judging' . Not exactly a good way to stimulate sexual confidence. 8-)

Got rid of my smart speaker after a couple of months . It was a freebee for signing up to something else which I wanted. Tried it out, read up on it and weighed the pros and cons before realising that it was just another dust collector for the number of times I actually used it. Gave it away.
