I mean... I know I won't have as many compatibility issues with windows, and there are more options for software...

But as a tablet?
I dunno, I always felt Windows tablets were a bit clunky...

And for the price...?
I can get an android tablet with better hardware specs than a Windows for a much cheaper price 😐

And just for the heck of it, I'ma gonna start a poll

I have Krita on my android tablet but the device isn't very powerful so I'm not very motivated to draw on it. It lags a lot. Honestly, I like to do sketches on my smartphone the most even if it doesn't have pressure sensitivity. If I had the pressure sensitive screen on it, it would be perfect for me.

@CrazyMusicLover krita isn't compatible with my current device (phone)

I was so hurt when I found that out 🫠

At least Clip Studio and Medibang work tho

@CrazyMusicLover I learned sketch without pressure sensitivity,

Now I actually prefer it lol

Same 😔

I downloaded some app called Sketchbook and it's not bad but I always end up on Flipaclip anyway. It's much more fun for its simplicity and the ability to animate. Even if it's just line art without all those painting brushes, watercolor effects etc.

@CrazyMusicLover you tried Medibang or Clip Studio?

Those are great
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@Fishy I'm going to check it out 😁

@CrazyMusicLover clip studio is a little pricey, but worth it if you know what you're doing...
Medibang is like the cheap skate version of clip studio lol.
It hasn't got all the same features, but I like it.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@Fishy It looks great, is it free trial? Brush size and opacity sliders are invaluable.
Fishy · 36-40, F
@CrazyMusicLover I think there is a free version of Medibang with limited features, and the full version is like $12 or something.

Not sure if clip studio has a free trial tho.

I pay something like $27 a year for CS

@Fishy Clip Studio is for free only if you use it online
