Those settings are well hidden for a reason. They may be legitimately required but that's pretty much the tech world equivalent of a prostitute telling you that it's safe doing it raw.

And even if the app was legit, I wouldn't want to go around with a phone with (wireless) debugging permanently enabled.

@Fishy Still odd but I'm not expert enough on Android's internal working to know for sure what's happening in that folder. Seems heaps better than putting the phone in debug mode, that's for sure - assuming that won't end up giving the app permissions to do it automatically 😅
