Do any of these prompts look shady to you?

Those settings are well hidden for a reason. They may be legitimately required but that's pretty much the tech world equivalent of a prostitute telling you that it's safe doing it raw.
And even if the app was legit, I wouldn't want to go around with a phone with (wireless) debugging permanently enabled.

Shady like it's a privacy issue or what

@deadgerbil I dunno, any type of shady, I guess?

@Fishy You'll naturally have to sign onto various things when using software, so the question is just way too broad to have an answer.
A better question is, do you trust this company specifically? Bc if you don't, then anything they do will be shady, irrespective of prompts

@deadgerbil I don't trust any company specifically 😐
But it has over 1m downloads and pretty positive 4+ reviews.
Unlike the other ones that have about a max of 3+

I know what these settings are and they would still give me pause😬 I might use them on a throwaway device or one I purposely cut off from the Internet. But they should be able to do what they are going to do without, as another poster alluded to, ripping the condom off. Shaddddy acres!
