Sure, as long as the inputs are also vegan-friendly.

@BlueVeins lol The building blocks are not the issue. Atoms are not inherently began or otherwise. The final assemblage is the important thing.
I am going to have to disagree.

@SomeMichGuy IDK why you're assuming we're starting with atoms; we could just as well be starting with macromolecules (such as proteins) and working from there.
SomeMichGuy · M
@BlueVeins It makes no difference where you start, but considering atoms makes the argument obvious.
BlueVeins · 22-25
@SomeMichGuy Of course it does, bc if you start with macromolecules will be sourced from the cells of sentient beings, which would therefore make it non-vegan.
SomeMichGuy · M
@BlueVeins Macromolecules are not only "sourced from the cells of sentient beings".
BlueVeins · 22-25
@SomeMichGuy They can be though.
SomeMichGuy · M
@BlueVeins Yes. But, if they ARE, then the answer is trivially determined, as you have said.
The more intriguing point is mine: if a set of atoms are assembled into what looks, feels, smells tastes like REAL meat...is that fine for vegans or not? There should be no problem.
