So, after the whole year, what are your thoughts on vaccination?

It proves that if you throw enough people and money at something, you'll probably find a solution. I remember thinking early on that it might take years to find an effective vaccine, but that was thinking with traditional lenses. This pandemic has been far from traditional, and scientists of the world pretty much threw everything they had at it.

Vaccines have long been shown to greatly reduce transmission, virulence, and health consequences of a disease, and this one is really no different. So far, it's working as advertised.

It is unfortunate that human psychology is as fragile as it is. Many people aren't equipped to deal with stress or uncertainty, and turn to fanciful thoughts in order to cope. It's at a point where facts and figures don't even matter, people will stubbornly believe whatever helps them deal with their own lack of understanding.
