I hate to be a gore-monger or relish in the tragedy of others…

…but as a very (barely) novice jumper I can hardly imagine what it would be like to end it all this way. Sad 😢 you never know what other people are struggling with until it’s too late… tragically. Apparently she left a note and that’s what clued people in that this was not just an accident.
I must admit that I have actually wondered what it would take to do this to myself and I feel like it must take incredible determination to not pull your chute even if it’s “low and late” after you have basically hardwired your brain’s instincts and reflexes to do so.

I have personally known two people who both had fatal BASE jumping accidents and unfortunately I saw the second persons accident in person at the celebration of life for the first person. It definitely polarized my interest in flying sports and probably changed my direction in them if not just my perspective.
