Deportation Threats From Classmates Push 11-Year-Old Girl To The Edge

11 year old girl takes her own life as her fellow 6th grade students bullied her and told her that they're going to deport her family. The bullying got reported many times and the white Trump supporter principle and teachers didn't do anything. The comments from Trump supporters asked if she really was illegal and the Trump administration's response was to send a sarcastic valentines day retort on social media. Trump supporters said they wished the family was deported for being illegal, I mean there wasn't evidence that they were illegal but even if they were, that's wrong to do to someone

This isn't a surprise anymore... since so many people are settling into hate, I fear that it's going to become even more common than it already is.

Schools have never had a good grasp on bullying, even where race is not determined to be an issue. I attended a predominantly white school (there were 2 non-white children in my entire school year - and they were bullied less than I was). Part of me wonders now, if their bullying issues were responded to more effectively because they weren't white, like I am.

Adding in the hate we're seeing against people who are of a different race or are disabled, I see more people failed and let down by the systems that are supposed to protect them and see that their life is no different to the lives of anyone else.
