I guess I'm photogenic
My mom said I'm photogenic, that I photograph well.
Hard to believe at first but now I'm starting to because when I share photos of myself people who know me & seen me in real life think I used a filter to look good. If I do use filter I make it obvious plus I always mention if I do but if it's removing a pimple I don't mention it (who needs to know I had huge pimple on my forehead lol)
This one time a family friend just couldn't believe I didn't have filter on photo I had on Facebook. So I took out my phone, took a selfie & showed her. She was in shock & asked just "how?" I responded with I know my good side 😁
I also noticed most think that way when it's selfie, but for regular far off photos people see me & don't question it.
Also in photos I wear makeup, I never wear makeup in my daily so that adds I think to others thinking I use filter. And if it's bare faced it's always when my redness is down, I get really red in face so that's how people usually see me.
To add I'd never be willing to meet someone I met online in person, I'd hate to have anyone think I cat fished or something. But that's just one reason, another being I'm too scared to meet people.
