Tell me the reason you are DM'ing me:

Friendship
Romance
Had a question
Just seeing who will respond

Just a few words. Nothing major. That way, I know what to expect instead of constantly wondering why anyone would be messaging me and what they want.

@Ferric67 I don't get them very much either. My shiny newness has worn off finally. Now, if I get some errant DM, I can pretty much be sure it's some scammy person.

@FoxyGoddess just feels kinda brutal to start a convo with Romance or Friendship, it would probably make me laugh and think who the hell is this
Plus I quite like that opening chat when you’re not sure, does she like me does she not, I better make her laugh, turn on the charm etc

I rarely answer DMs from those who haven’t at least interacted with me on posts.
It does feel rather like a total stranger appearing in your window suddenly, especially when, with no other introduction, all they say is "hi !" 😳
