Your management sounds toxic. No employee should be in a position they can't do without oversight
urn611024 · 26-30, F
@plungesponge They expect me to just know. And if i dont, they dont take the fall, they laugh and blame me. They speak about me thinking i cant inderstand just cause its a different language.

If your supervisor isn't mentoring your, you should seek help from HR about what sort of training/mentoring options are available. Otherwise, even if you may be under contract for another 6 months it is not too early to begin looking at next job opportunities. Never too early to begin planning, and it will help you focus on the future rather than the unpleasant present. And better to have something in hand for the future than have a quit or terminated on your resume.

@dancingtongue I'll stick it out for the remainder of the 6 months, I know its beter to atleast stay a year at a place. My boss isnt interested training and theres not really an HR where I work, (private company with their own rules), so Ill do what I can. Im going to look for courses to study in the mean time to gain some skills. Thanks for the advice.

I know that feeling
urn611024 · 26-30, F
@Justmeraeagain it sucks but i cant keep feeling like this. Gotta make a plan somehow
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
@urn611024 have you tried to find another job?
This just might be me, but I'd rather do something I like then have a high salary.
When I was around your age I worked at a daycare and I liked that a lot. It didn't pay a lot, though.
Of course I don't know your full situation
