I hate it when strangers try chatting me up in line at the store 😒

It’s like, do I look like I’m in the mood to chit-chat? And then I’m the rude one for not interacting with them. Why do I have to be put on the spot like that and then be painted as the bad guy? I’m there to pay for my shit and go on about my day! I’m glad you’re so extroverted and comfortable shooting the shit with just anyone, but some of us have social anxiety or simply aren’t in the mood to chat. Gawd, I hate people…

This is my single biggest pet peev in life. I'm NOT a rude person, but I also don't like chatting about nothing with random strangers.

Just because they're uncomfortable with their own company doesn't mean I am. I like my time with myself and unless there's something of significance that needs to be communicated, I'd prefer they leave me the hell alone. 🙄
