I wouldn’t call that sad because there’s nothing wrong with being a hopeless romantic. You’re allowed to give yourself some grace here.
I think all of us want some element of that, whether it’s to have someone help tackle DIY stuff around the house, or go camping for a weekend, enjoy tailgating at college football games, or even go antique shopping for something else to add to the stuff we have.
I’ve learned most of my things from google and YouTube, albeit I have some knowledge of how to fix some stuff… regardless of what my friends will say. But I stay away from major plumbing and dropping electricity lines haha.
