There’s absolutely nothing wrong with being a hopeless romantic, if for no other reason that it gives the hope and feel-good vibes of what could one day be.
A couple of days back mine discovered a leak under the sink and decided to fix it himself, a mistake I knew would turn into a thing. And it did. I had to spend half of my day repairing his mistake.
He tries and I can’t fault him for that. I just wish he wouldn’t take on tasks he has little knowledge of because it ends up being something I have to take over, and oftentimes I have other plans in mind for how I want to spend my time.

Truth be told I probably would have tried to fix the plumbing leak myself too, but I will say I might know when I’m outta my depth.
