She was in her twenties.

She was raised in Belgium
But she was born in Paris from French parents. I'm pretty sure she had the French nationality.

We have enough weird cases out here, that I was amazed I would have missed this one.

Look I don't know the story well I was just repeating one source. In his writings its not hard to see the humanitarianism and to feel it, but if he wasn't and became something else for real I just wouldn't know. And I'm not a romantic lord knows... but I would wanna know more about that family rift and what it really was all about.
