What do you do for panic attacks?

I know people get them once in awhile but what is your remedy?

I've been on medication for panic attacks for close to twenty years now. I rarely get them anymore, but fear that if I stop taking the medication they will start back up.

I find the benefits of it, my treatment, outweighs the risk of side effects, of which I've had none to date.
