What do you do for panic attacks?

I know people get them once in awhile but what is your remedy?

I don't know if this is the most practical advice, but it worked for me. I struggled with panick attacks for periods of my life. I decided to go out and engage in life more, tried new activities, found events and social circles to get involved in. Forced myself to smile and looked for ways to help others. Basically I tried to make the most of my life. Eventually my panic subsided.
