What do you do for panic attacks?

I know people get them once in awhile but what is your remedy?

For panic attacks I took drugs, prescribed for my cptsd. I had it and other very serious manifestations of traumas,
this had to be gotten under control STAT.
I had a young child and a life to build.

Anxiety attacks...You can try breathing in and out for twice+ longer( your exhalation must be longer m as this will help activate your parasympathetic nervous system).
Also, tactile distractions:i.e various rocks in your hands. You're directing your attention here.
And occasionally as a quick fix (it's not a fix but, as I am not a drinker), a sip of liquour, as it's a depressant.
@LunadelobosIAMTHEDRAGON For PTSD, access EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
You can read Getting Past your Past by Francine Shapiro. Francine discovered EMDR by accident, then tested it it. The more thoroughly it was tested with thousands of people, the more the results were confirmed. It works thoroughly and very quickly (within about 10 sessions) for 96% of clients. It has proved itself far more effective than any other treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. This include vicarious trauma, and traumas from the mildest to the most severe and long term.

The book is probably in your local library or they can buy it for you.
It's important to read the book first and then find someone who is properly trained in the technique.

I'm doing it myself now and getting huge benefits.
@hartfire I can try it. Good that it helps many.
For example, tapping did absolutely nothing for me.

Thank you.
