I Have Anxiety Attacks And Panic Attacks

Having a mild anxiety attack now. Maybe from too little sleep. I am afraid to sleep because I've had a lot of disturbing nightmares these last couple of days. Think it might be the antibiotic I am taking. It's helping my long time ear infection so I am not going to stop taking it. Did not sleep at all last night. Now I awoke from another nightmare and am scared and feeling very alone. Middle of the night. Trying to get up nerve to take a sleeping pill. Anxiety is suggesting a series of unlikely but scary events that "could" happen at any moment. Bad dreams, bad memories, heart pounding anxiety.

May I suggest you look up the medications your doctor has prescribed? As a rule most doctors inform you most possible side effects. Google it. He should have let you know what to be aware of. Things to look for. Reactions to expect. Search this drug yourself. Better to be safe. Might Google your Doctor, see if there are reports against him in his Web. I have seen ads on TV, is it called Varify?

I have just changed to a new and better doctor. I do not take any medications on a regular basis (because for the most part I have no chronic issues requiring medications). I just finished a 5 day course of an antibiotic designed to wipe out a very bad ear infection which I've endured for nearly a year ( it wiped out a good part of my hearing); the first 5 doctors I saw at Kaiser refused to treat it saying it was just my age! Finally, I found one who took it seriously and actually examined it and told me it was, as I thought, an infection. I am relieved to be getting rid of the pain, headaches, fevers, ringing in my ears, delirium noises and exhaustion.
