Day 2 of the ā€œtossing and turning world championshipā€ and I’m apparently going for gold šŸ„‡šŸ˜…

I have flipped this pillow 47 times, rearranged the blankets like I’m solving a Rubik’s cube, and checked the clock enough to know my alarm is about to go off any minute. Zero peace. Just me and my overachieving brain hosting a 3am TED Talk I did NOT sign up for.

At this point I’m half tempted to ask someone to just come bop me upside the head so I can get some sleep šŸ˜‚ (kidding… mostly).

If you see me functioning tomorrow, just know it’s powered by caffeine, vibes, and pure stubbornness.

It’s harder to do than to say but keep technology off while resting, or have some soothing music playing from it without looking at the screen, have not sound notifications operating, and in your mind create light spirited scenarios like being a guest on a talk show. You’re going to be ok with a calm outlook and that ingrained humor I see in your masterful manner of effortless expression.
