I need to lose myself in sleep

The slumber and comfort of a deep sleep, nary a sound or a peep,

Vivid dreams painting pictures within one’s mind, incredible adventures one can find as one unwinds.

Resting within a dream state and feeling calm and great,

Thoughts racing between the dark and the light,
For tomorrow is forever when a mind gets lost in the depth of the night,

Tossing and turning, making one’s way,
Content to remain within an unconscious state, a frozen daze, a mind maze, looking forward to another day….
