I am sorry, that is miserable. I get some help from CBD Hemp Oil, extra strength, high dose. But it does take some time to build up in our systems. Also, YouTube has good videos for relaxation and meditation to help us relearn sleeping skills. Many underlying clinical illnesses cause insomnia too.

Peri menopause and menopause are a cause of insomnia for many women.

I have a medical card, I use the full spectrum oils mix it in with night time tea. I just haven’t picked any up in a few weeks. I haven’t tried just CBD other than lotion for muscles.
I should try some.
I process things very fast. Unfortunately.
I had a total knee replacement, last year. The 24hour pain block did not eork at all, They gave me a pain med and a sleeping pill because I had been awake for more then 24 hours.
I feel asleep for 90 minutes.called the nurse snd she could not believe I was awake. She said I should have slept a good 3-4 hours at least. 😏
I have sleep issues since I was a child.
Normal nights I go to sleep between
3-4 AM and have to get up at 7:00am.
I’m having a sleep study done soon. ☹️

Are you a natural redhead? @Istas

@FlowersNButterflies
no but my children are. Lots red undertones. Redheads always have something going on. Why is that? 😁
FlowersNButterflies · 61-69, F
@Istas I read that readheads are genetically disposed to have difficulties with meds than the rest of us.

@FlowersNButterflies I will have to read that. Thank you for sharing.
I have brown hair, with all red undertones. It shows in the sun.
So it’s there. Interesting. 🥰

That was a good article.
The dentist.. yes! I am
Just like that.
They gave to give me probably twice as much Novocain than normal people.
In the past they have given me a higher dose of Halcion, am still alert.

When I woke up from knee surgery, before I went to my recovery room,
The nurse did not believe me that I could feel everything.
They gave me fentanyl, the main nurse was so rude. “You should not be able to feel anything.” I crying my eyes out. The put a sheet up so I could see.
Poke test. They poke me here or there snd ask where , or how many times, or would ask “can you feel this?” And she wasn’t even touching me. Just trying to see if I was lying. 😡
As soon as I said where they had poked my foot, and how many times, both nurses exchanged that “ oh shit” look not meant for me to see.
Yes!! I told you I could feel everything.
I was thinking it.
Instead of helping with pain management, she asked in a very accusatory tone,
“ Do you take opiates at home?”
Are kidding me right now?!! (thinking)!
I gave other stuff too that applies to the article.
Thank you for sharing. 🌺🌺🌺

You must take the time to report her to the Nursing Board. People like that should be removed from patient care. @Istas

♥️ Is it too late? This was last July.
And it was in “waiting” room, before I went to my recovery room.
I wound gave yo find out who they were, one was worse than the other.
But both were acting like I was putting them out.

Not too late - that you are still traumatized shows how inappropriate she was. @Istas
