I Can Not Sleep

Everytime I try to close my eyes and sleep I start having a nightmare. Do you ever think that your dreams mean anything?

I do. I think they mean I've got some unresolved issues and my brain is about to have a melt down. My daughter wakes me from nightmares on average, about three times a week.

@Serenitree yeah probably. What kind of nightmares does she have?

@donutworryboutit She isn't the one with nightmares. My whimpers and shouts wake her up and she comes to me and gently rubs my hands until I wake up from whatever horror I'm living at that moment.
I think the nightmares are the only reason I'm not back on the psyche ward. When I'm awake, I'm quite a contented old lady. I've got a lot to be grateful for, but when I sleep, my brain goes places I'd rather not be.
