Hurt my back in my late 20's. Doctor put me on Panadeine Forte four times daily. Didn't help. Physio put me onto some stretching execises. Now I'm down to one Neurofin before bed.

Hope your back is feeling better. I broke mine in the Marine Corps at 23 years old. Issues ever since. Chiropractic monthly and massage therapy 2x a month along with stretching keeps me healthy and moving. I halo have an inversion table which was a real miracle worker. Prob the best back therapy besides massages.

I have .... some stretching exercises might help, lying down flat, lift each leg, bend and hold at knee with hands breath deeply 10 seconds each then both legs. See a chiropractor if you can if pain persists.

Could be your sciatic nerve...That can make it almost impossible to stand up straight...and down your leg as well...My Doc gave me some pills and it was gone within like 6 hours

College dorm mattress was so bad my back would ache every morning. Started hanging backwards over it to get it stretched out.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
Yes, fairly often over the decades. It's very frustrating when you can barely move and can't really do anything.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
Sciatica can happen to anyone. More exercise does help, yet you likely have to really push yourself hard to do so.
At my worst, I was crawling on all fours to the toilet and back in a tiny village miles from home in a "big freeze".
WaryWitchWandering · 36-40, F
That happened to my husband and he needed a muscle relaxer and to rest it
JackDaniels · 51-55, M
Yes. Could not even get up without help.

Sleep in fetal position, I'll help with the pain

Do you have back pain often after sleeping? 😢
GabbySA8 · F
When I broke it when I was 11, that hurt a ton
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M

ThisIsCrazy · 46-50, MVIP

How's your back now?
Yes. Stretching can help. Bend backwards. Hurts, but helps.

Yeah, I heavily medicate and stretch then sleep
Ever since I was in an accident when I was 16 my back goes out periodically, almost 39 years now.
