Grief in pictures

He must have been a decent man.

Some of these are very powerful, but the little girl with the lantern doesn't feel like grief to me. That one feels like hope.

Extreme gratitude for my best friend who dragged me, half-dead myself, to grief therapy over and over again those first few weeks. Eventually I was able to go myself - and eventually I was able to move on from needing to go after about 5 or 6 months. I took me another two or three months to rebuild, but I'm so glad I was in therapy for the grief, and I'm so glad I started the rebuild. Keeping busy along with the therapy was a life saver.

I know I wouldn't have done as well without those two moves.
