For every breath I breathe,
An "I love you", is tattooed on the sleeve
Of the entity of me
That will always be.
I knew you before this place,
As soon as I saw your face
I knew my life was changed.
I wish I had more grace.
A little more appreciation,
A little less frustration,
Just so I'd spent more time,
Admiring your smiling face.
And less time filling the air,
With the bullshit I put there.
I wish I knew what to say,
To chase the clouds away.
Or at least knew how to seize a day,
Because the best ones always slip away.
