My friend passed away..

Last summer, a good friend of mine, a lady i worked with for many years was diagnosed with a brain tumour. She had an op, and chemo for many months, but they stopped her treatmeant two months ago.
We were informed she passed away yesterday.
Sadly, with the pandemic, many if her friends had not seen her for well over a year. She was only allowed one named visitor in her last few months at the hospital, and in her last few weeks she had gone home to her parents who have recently moved to Cornwall.
I hope they will have a service ( funeral) here, where she lived all her life, so all her friends can attend. It will be so sad if none of us will be able to attend to pay our respects. 💔

@Nebula and I hate to say it but sometimes its better to not have the memories of a person when they were suffering

@Nebula yes. I realize that....for myself....but it must have ben very lonely for her, and thats heartbreaking.
This is the 4th person this year we know who died as a result of a brain tumour. My father in law last march, and two of my husbands friends, now Sweet Shelly. X
