I Was Bullied

I was bullied at both schools and my mum wanted to talk to the teacher but I was ashamed.

Years later I contacted the bully on 'Friends Reunited' saying 'I have post traumatic stress cos of you fatty'.

She replied that she had given my message to the police!

I laughed out loud. The police? She didn't need them all those years back when she had her gang to back her up.

Don’t stoop to her level and try to get back at her, don’t hold a grudge because it will only bring you further down.

If you are free of the bullying, just be glad that you have your life back and make the most of it.

If you are not free of the bullying, then do whatever you can to get free.
Life is too short and precious to be continually trodden under someone’s foot.

I was bullied as well throughout middle school. I didn't have to deal with it as much in high school, but I was an outcast. Then I had to go home and deal with my older sister who hated my guts. About 4 years ago I decided to go to therapy. Writing has also helped me :D. You should write letters to the people who hurt you, then rip them up! I've done this and it's helped me release a lot of anger.

Yes I agree. It often helps to get your thoughts down on paper.
I did that when I was angry about stuff.

Bullies always act tough when they have their friends with them. Get them alone in a dark alley forget it.

@freedomtrails: Sadly the last part of your message is true. This is why I am a big advocate of krav maga. Sometimes victims have to do what they have to do.

Be careful. This person could be dangerous. I would say let it go. Revenge on this person is not going to be satisfying and it could be legally complex.

@Alfred22: Actually revenge is sweet when planned out right. I exacted revenge on several people for bullying me and it was very satisfying.

Cos our sins come back to haunt us and I was reminding her.

Many adults have told me that they feel guilty about stuff they did years ago.
