Trying to get rid of our guilt.

From me and my girlf.

We want to take a moment to address something important from our past. In school and college, we both were bullies. We made fun of people, especially those who were overweight. At the time, we thought it was funny. Looking back now, we deeply regret our actions and the hurt we caused.

Life has a way of teaching lessons. My girlfriend has since put on weight, and it’s given us both a new perspective on the pain we inflicted. We realize now just how wrong we were. We wish we hadn’t said the things we did, and we understand why many people don’t like us today.

We are truly sorry for our past behavior and the harm we caused. We’re committed to being better people and spreading kindness instead of hurt.

Thank you for reading this.

With social media how it is nowadays, couldn't you find the ones you wronged and contact them directly. What you both did probably had a profound affect on their lives and i say that from experience. Although it is honourable to admit your behaviour it is your victims that need to hear it.

I know you’re right, that’s what we were thinking of doing, we’re trying to pluck up the courage.@Primnproper

Thankyou. @NoGamesTolerated
@Strongtea 🙂
Trying to get rid of guilt by admitting it anonymously on a public forum .... is only the first step : acceptance.
There are more steps yet to take to fully assuage guilt.

Its kind of like AA.
Self acknowledgement is the first step to undoing the wrong youve committed and hurt youve caused.

Letting other people in your life know, the people you wronged know, and trying to undo the damage and/or make up for it, are other relelvant steps towards alleviating hirt caused by your past actions.

And yeah...life does have a way .
