Ehh - I'm human, and I'm not a saint - I have an ego like anyone else. It bugs me when someone twists things to make it look like their comment was so striking/true that I had no response for it.

Work on beating them in as few replies as possible. Don't even reply if you don't have to. That's how I try to avoid controversy.

Heh, rarely - but yeah, it happens. My style is to say whatever the fuck I actually think, and not care if people like me for it or not. I'm perfectly comfortable with a good fight - I know how to hold my own, and I know when to disengage and walk away - so if it creates controversy, then bring it on!
