That was a shameful moment in history.

@4meAndyou The people who did it need to be jailed for attempted murder.

@Ryannnnnn I agree that the actual perpetrators should be jailed, if only we could identify all of them. But I will take it further.

The police were told by city council members of Portland Oregon NOT to interfere with the Anti-fa protest. The city council members of Portland Oregon refuse to make it illegal to show up at protests wearing masks, so they are complicit in perpetuating this sort of violence, in addition to tying the hands of the police.

I think that they, also, need to be jailed.

@4meAndyou It's ridiculous that this goes unchallenged, and you get people actually gloating publicly about the fact that he nearly died and has damage to his brain saying that he got what was coming to him.

They do need to do something about the masks, you only wear them if you're there to cause trouble. You don't show up with fibreglass knuckles in your gloves to have a peaceful protest. It's the same stuff the people where I used to live wear when they carry machetes and rob people.

@Ryannnnnn Andy Ngo is living proof that some radical progressive liberals are among the most hypocritical people on the planet.

Andy Ngo is gay, and this happened DURING gay pride week, but I have not heard ONE protest from the LGBT community over his treatment, when in the past, gays were beaten like this all the time, and were persecuted. Unfortunately, I guess it is just all right with them to have gay men beaten and hospitalized with brain hemorrhages as long as they have CONSERVATIVE values.

@4meAndyou That's what I can't stand about certain types of people.
People who don't have integrity if they're in a group, or maybe don't have values or morals to begin with.

If someone from an "opposing" political group called me a name and then got beaten up, I'm standing up for them because it was wrong.
You don't say "it's okay because they're part of x tribe" you stick by your damn principles otherwise you stand for nothing but empty words.

It's what's made me a sort of centrist these days even though i hold old school liberal values.

@Ryannnnnn You are so right. I don't think there are too many people in your age group who are mature enough to think for themselves, or stand up for what they know to be right, or to come out against what they know to be wrong.

It takes strength to be true to yourself.

@4meAndyou I think a lot of other people are getting sick of this now. I blame social media, manipulation of what stories get shared, partisan fake news sensasionalist media outlets, and lack of personal responsibility to ones self and hiding behind tribalism.
People are being brainwashed.

If it wasn't for people like Jordon peterson, Nietzsche and Jung I might not have been who I am now. Tim Pool is a good journalist as well you should check out and support if you want.
